On Friday August 11, the Greystanes Catholic Community again joined together as part of our Winter Embrace charity work.
This part of the Winter Embrace supports St Vincent de Paul and is especially focused on supporting and caring for the increased number of senior aged homeless women in our society. The students of Ambrose ELC, OLQP Primary School and St Pauls College were asked to bring in a gold coin donation on Friday, our mufti day. The children then symbolically placed out the coins in a trail leading from the Preschool and OLQP, up the hill to St Pauls and to the Church.
The money raised will be added to the funds already raised through the church and will be donated to St Vincent de Paul.
