All eight hundred students, teachers and over two hundred parents came together in prayer and celebration. On Wednesday 9th August, the Year 6 Students presented a prepared 3-4 minute speech on a topic or issue they felt strongly about and presented it to an audience. The students were judged on their preparation, speech delivery, voice, confidence, posture and gesture.

St Patricks Mufti Day 2017

As you might know last Friday the 17/03/2017 was St. Patrick’s day and I am very grateful for Mr Hopley for allowing us to wear the green of St Patrick on our mufti day for a gold coin donation. We raised so much money for project compassion - $1,076 and I’m so grateful because there are only 800 students in the school and I am very thankful to have raised this much. The day was a big hit and the children loved it and I loved it too. Sincerely Luke Griffin Year 6 student and proud Irish/Australian!

Year 5 Hyde Park Barracks Excursion 2017

In Term 1 and Term 2 Year Five are learning about Early Australia and its impact on our development as a nation. To complement the learning in this unit Year 5 attended an excursion to Hyde Park Barracks. The Hyde Park Barracks offered a program entitled Life at the Barracks: Convicts and Migrants. This program allowed the students to travel back in time in Australia and immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of life as a convict during the colonisation of Australia
