  2017 Parramatta Diocesan Team Sport Trials

Any Primary students enrolled in Parramatta Diocesan Schools in Year 5 and 6 in 2017 are invited to participate in the Parramatta Diocesan Team Sport Trials during Term One/Two in 2017.It is important to note that these trials are generally for those children who display an above average ability and/or have representative experience in their chosen sport. While teams are open in age it is strongly recommended that only children of a representative standard in Years 5 & 6 in 2017 be invited to attend.

  2018 Swimming Carnival

This year we have been able to secure the indoor pool at Blacktown Aquatic Centre. It will cater for our large numbers with the added benefit of a large outside area. We will be able to use this area for the non-swimmers to participate in water-fun activities.

  Blessing and Dedications on Marys Courtyard

We invite all parents to attend the blessing and dedication of Our Lady’s statue that will be held following the Monday morning assembly on Monday 30th October. Parents are invited to celebrate in prayer, the dedication and blessing, followed by morning tea on Mary’s Courtyard.

This note is to inform you that our Infants and Junior choirs have been entered into The City of Penrith Eisteddfod.The Schools Choral Competition is on Thursday 24th August, at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Penrith.   Year 3 Excursion to the State Library

We have organised an excursion to the State Library of New South Wales.The students of 3B and 3DR will be attending the excursion on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 and students of 3S and 3KR will be attending the excursion on Monday, October 30th, 2017.

  Year 4 Excursion to Penrith Lakes

The date of the excursion is Monday 6th of November for 4JK and 4AD & Friday 10th of November for 4MD and 4VK. We have organised an excursion for all students to Penrith Lakes where students will have the opportunity to partake in various activities to consolidate their understanding of the importance of vegetation in an environment.

The school has given permission for the students in Year 6 to wear sporting mufti on Friday 20th October, as a way of raising money for the event. The cost will be a gold coin donation.
