At the end of 2014, Patrick Langan from Our Lady Queen of Peace, Greystanes graduated Year 6 a happy, confident and engaged learner a feat his mother Margaret attributes to the dedication of his teachers over the years.

Margaret said that Patrick experienced learning difficulties in his younger years, but the hard work and persistence of teachers Rebecca Lloyd, Kym Romanous, Candice Cozzarini, Cheryl Gunter, and Lloyd Knight enabled him to overcome these challenges.

'I would like to thank all the teachers from Our Lady Queen of Peace for their work in supporting and dedication to Patrick's education over the years,’ said Margaret.  ‘I know that education starts at the home however without the help from all of the teachers, Patrick would not have achieved the success that he has through out his years in primary school.’

Principal Michael Hopley said it is wonderful to receive positive feedback from parents.

‘Patrick’s journey of learning was a difficult one as he had some specific learning needs,’ said Michael. ‘He will now be attending St. Paul’s College and he leaves us a confident learner with a bright future ahead.’
